What's new
Cognassist keeps getting better at what matters: inclusion you can evidence, across every tutor
See what's new in Cognassist. One honest, current record of what has recently shipped, and the single place our roadmap lives.
Recently shipped
This is what's new in Cognassist for your team, and the proof for anyone still weighing us up. Every release below is live now and makes the graduated approach easier to run and easier to evidence. Open any one and see it for yourself.
Every learner's stage in the graduated approach, on every tutor's list
Every tutor now sees where each learner sits across assess, plan, do and review, with time-in-stage flags (On Track, Needs Attention, Overdue) and a filter to act on what is slipping. The same stage and time-in-stage columns now appear in reporting exports.
ExploreA whole-provider view for quality and inclusion leads
Leads get a pathway dashboard across the whole provider, a daily-insight banner and quick links to what needs attention, plus twice-monthly digests. It is admin-only, so it never clutters a tutor's day, and admins now manage their own organisation settings.
ExploreSupport that gets reviewed, not just written
The periodic review flow lets tutors re-decide support at each review, capture a signable review record, and see what is due or overdue. Client admins can now switch on e-signatures for those records.
ExploreSkyglide: your own AI tools, tuned to how a learner thinks
A new, separate tool that tailors the AI tools you already use to work with a learner's cognition. Live now at skyglide.ai.

The same workflow, delivered by every tutor across a college group
Bedford College Group piloted the full assess, plan, do and review workflow across four curriculum areas and three colleges, equipping ordinary tutors to deliver personalised support without waiting for a specialist referral. On the strength of the pilot, they are rolling it out to every learner.

Where our roadmap lives, and only here
Everything below is where Cognassist is heading, not what has shipped. We keep that line crisp on purpose: forward-looking plans live on this page and nowhere else, so every other page stays grounded in what you can use today.
On the roadmap
Direction, not availability. Nothing here has shipped, and we do not put dates on work we have not delivered. When something goes live, it moves up to Recently shipped.
Adaptify, inside the main platform
Adaptify runs today as a separate tool at adaptify.cognassist.io, generating group-level adaptation tips. We are working to bring that into the main platform, so you could generate tips for a learner group without leaving Cognassist. Not yet available.
Kai, supporting tutors too
Kai already supports learners today. We are exploring a tutor-facing surface so the assistant helps the person delivering support, not only the learner. Not yet available.
An AI educational and occupational psychologist
Our longer-term direction: an AI that helps facilitate assessment and co-created planning at a scale a specialist team never could. A statement of where we are heading, not a product you can buy.
FAQ
Questions about how Cognassist evolves
What's new in Cognassist right now?
Recent releases span the tutor pathway view, a whole-provider leadership dashboard, reporting exports, organisation settings and e-signatures, and the periodic review flow, plus a new separate tool, Skyglide. Each strengthens the graduated approach, and each links to the live feature above so you can verify it.Is Cognassist actively developed and still being improved?
Yes. Cognassist is institutional infrastructure that keeps maturing, not a static tool. More than 400,000 learners have been assessed on the platform (as of 2026), and recent work has made the graduated approach easier to run and easier to evidence across every tutor. This page is the current record. How often do you release updates?
Regularly, as a steady stream of improvements rather than to a fixed public schedule. Instead of publishing a release count, we keep this page current, so what you see under Recently shipped is what is genuinely live.Where can I see what is coming next?
Here. This is the single home for our roadmap. Forward-looking plans live on this page and nowhere else, which is how every other page stays grounded in what has actually shipped. Are the items on your roadmap guaranteed?
No. Anything under On the roadmap is direction of travel, not a commitment, and we deliberately avoid putting dates on work we have not delivered. We present a capability as available only once it is genuinely live.
