The questions this role actually asks

  • Does Cognassist generate our SAR or QIP for us?
    No. Insights compiles one live view of platform data that feeds SAR and QIP preparation. Writing the self-assessment report and the quality improvement plan stays your process, done your way.
  • Does this make us Ofsted-compliant or guarantee a grade?
    No. Cognassist helps you evidence inclusion and demonstrate active oversight. It does not make you compliant, and no regulator requires, approves or guarantees a grade from using it. Compliance, and the outcome, stay yours.
  • Who sees the InclusionIntel dashboard?
    Admins. Insights is an admin-only leadership surface. Tutors work in their own learners' records and plans, not the whole-provider view.
  • Is the cognitive assessment a diagnosis?
    No. It produces a cognitive profile, a signal for a tutor's judgement, not a diagnosis. It does not by itself establish disability under the Equality Act 2010.
  • Does this work across FE colleges, training providers and universities?
    Yes. The same golden thread runs wherever inclusion is delivered, whether you're a college, an apprenticeship provider or a university running higher and degree apprenticeships.
  • We already run our management information system (MIS) or e-portfolio well. What does this add at leadership level?
